Rooftop walkways provide a visible and non-slip surface to protect against trip risks when traversing rooftops. Regular access across roofing sheets and membranes for plant inspection, air quality monitoring, and roof light cleaning can lead to long-term degradation and damage. The installation of walkways provides safety and longevity to your roof.

GRP Walkway and Grating Sytems

MSA Walksafe & GRP Walkways

  • Conforms to BS EN 516:2006

  • Non-slip, slip resistance compliant to BS 4592

  • Can be installed directly onto profile sheet roofing or to other roof types with specialist fixing arrangements

  • Low maintenance

  • Manufactured from recycled PVCu reducing environmental impact

  • Fibreglass, glass fibre, and glass-reinforced plastic

  • Long lifespan in excess of 25 years (BBA Certified) as WalkSafe is manufactured from extruded PVCu planks and support leavers, injection moulded PVCu end caps with stainless steel fixings and fasteners ensuring WalkSafe is both highly corrosion and moisture resistant

  • Fire resistance—Class 1Y against B476 resistance test

  • Undergone full ACRM Fragility of Roofing Assemblies testing

  • BBA Certified for slip resistance
